Fairloom
Splitting up belongings after a move, a divorce or a death, without a fight.
iPhone: free to try, one-time unlock €8,99, no subscription

Dividing a house full of belongings is rarely about the things — it is about nobody feeling overruled. Fairloom turns that evening at the kitchen table into a method: everyone bids in private on one iPhone, and out comes a split you can check line by line.
How It Works
1. List the people and the things. A room, a photo and an estimated value are optional.
2. Pass the phone around. Each person spreads 100 points over what they want most, and nobody sees anybody else's bids. Whoever cannot be there gets an invite code instead.
3. Fairloom proposes the split: taking turns, whoever is worst off so far picks their highest remaining wish.
What You Get
- A pile for each person, with how much of their own wishes they received
- An envy check: would anybody rather have someone else's pile, measured in their own points?
- And a way out of it: Fairloom looks for the one swap or move that would take the envy away, re-runs the whole split to show it really is better for one side and worse for nobody, and tells you plainly when no such move exists
- The money settlement — who pays whom, and how much, from the estimated values you filled in
- And it says what it could not price: anything left without a value is named on screen and on paper, because a payment worked out over half an inventory is not a fair one
- The draft round by round, so nobody has to take the outcome on trust
- Unequal shares, if the will says so: half to one person and a quarter to each of two others changes both the split and the money settlement
- An invite code for anybody who cannot be at the table: plain text you send by message or e-mail, they bid in private in their own Fairloom and send a code back — still no account and no server
- If someone bid from a code before the inventory kept growing, the result names them and names what they never saw, and offers to send them only what was added since
- Hand anything to anyone yourself; Fairloom recalculates around your choice
- Mark things to sell or donate and keep them out of the draw
- Quick-add a whole room, search a long inventory, group it by room
Why You'll Like It
- One-time purchase — no subscription, ever
- 100% on your iPhone — no account, no cloud, nothing you enter is uploaded
- No permissions at all, not even for photos
- No ads, no sign-up
- The method fits in one sentence and the app shows its work, so the outcome is checkable instead of taken on trust
Open the built-in sample division to see a full result in ten seconds. Building your own division is free and unlimited: the people, the belongings, the photos, the whole bidding round and the complete result — including the envy check and the money settlement — cost nothing. The one-time unlock adds the export: a settlement PDF with a cover, a page per person, the money settlement, everyone's bids and signature lines, plus a CSV with every item and every bid.
Fairloom helps a family agree. It is a proposal, not a legal document, and it is not legal or tax advice.
