GuestKit Android
A welcome book for your holiday rental that guests will really read.
Android: free to try, one-time unlock €4,99, no subscription · looking for the iPhone version?
Guests ask the same things every stay: the wifi password, how the heating works, where to park, what to do with the bins. GuestKit turns your answers into a welcome book, a print kit and a guest page, all made on your phone, with no account and no cloud.
How It Works
1. Add your rental. Fill in the basics card: name, welcome message, host name and phone, address, wifi network and password.
2. Work through eight sections: Check-in & Arrival, House Rules, How Things Work, Kitchen & Supplies, Our Local Favorites, Getting Around, Safety & Emergency and Check-out. Every section comes with topics already named ("Arrival time", "Quiet hours", "Parking", "Check-out time"), so you fill in blanks instead of staring at an empty page. Add your own topics, and mark what does not apply to your place as not applicable.
3. Look through all three documents in the preview, then export.
What You Get
- Welcome Book PDF: cover, an optional contents page with page numbers, a wifi page, an emergency sheet and every section you filled in
- Print Kit PDF: the loose signs for the wall: a welcome card, a wifi card, house rules, a check-out list with tick boxes and an emergency sheet
- Guest Page: one self-contained HTML file you send guests. It opens on any phone and keeps working without a signal
- An optional wifi QR code on the wifi page, the wifi card and the guest page, so guests join with the camera instead of typing the password
- Guest messages: three ready-to-paste texts (a booking confirmation, an arrival message and a check-out message), built from what you already filled in
- A4 or US Letter paper, chosen from your region and changeable per property
- As many properties as you manage. A second rental starts from the first: your sections, topics, name, phone and welcome message travel across, while the address and the wifi stay empty on purpose, because those belong to the building
- Before you share, GuestKit names the pages your documents would leave out (no wifi network: no wifi card) and the field that brings each one back. If your place really has no wifi, say so once and it stops asking
- Every property says whether the documents you last made still match what you have written since
- A finished example: one tap opens a fully written cottage, so you can read the book, the signs and the guest page before you type a word. Make it yours (the made-up wifi, address and example lines are cleared for you) or delete it
- Backup and restore: one file with every property, saved where you choose, to take your work to a new phone. Bringing a file back only adds properties; nothing on the phone is replaced
Practical Details
Long topics, long welcome notes and long titles wrap on the page and continue on the next one. Nothing is cut off silently: where a sign has room for only part of your welcome note, the sign says the full note is in the book. If the phone cannot save your work, the app says so and keeps it on screen until it can. The app itself is in English and Dutch. The documents you export, the section names and the ready-made topic names are in English; what you write is printed word for word.
Private By Design
Everything stays on your phone. No account, no ads, no tracking, no internet permission. You choose where a document or a backup is saved with Android's own save dialog, and what you share, and with whom. The backup file is not encrypted: it holds your wifi passwords and door codes as you typed them.
Price
Setting up your properties, looking through all three documents, reading the guest messages and backing up are free. A one-time purchase unlocks exporting the three documents and copying or sharing the guest messages, for every property. No subscription.
